Location: On-site in Pascagoula, MS

Schedule: Full-time,1st or 2nd shift, Monday–Friday

Industry Focus: Shipbuilding and Marine Fabrication (Nationwide Client Base)

We’re looking for an experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support our national shipyard clients by performing weld testing for skilled trades professionals in Pascagoula, MS .

This is a hands-on testing role , not an instructional position. You’ll be responsible for evaluating welders and other tradespeople to ensure they meet client-specific standards before being deployed to shipbuilding projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and evaluate weld tests across various processes (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW)
• Ensure tests are conducted in compliance with AWS, NAVSEA, and client-specific procedures
• Record, document, and communicate results with accuracy and consistency
• Partner with recruiting and mobilization teams to qualify candidates efficiently
• Maintain testing facility cleanliness, safety, and readiness

Requirements:

• Active AWS CWI certification (required)
• 5+ years of welding or inspection experience in shipbuilding or heavy industrial settings
• Familiarity with NAVSEA standards and shipyard welding qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
