Job Title: Parking Enforcement Supervisor

Position Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

The Parking Enforcement Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily field operations related to parking enforcement on client properties. This role ensures that enforcement officers are performing their duties effectively, professionally, and in compliance with client expectations and company policies. The Supervisor also serves as the primary point of contact for frontline staff, clients, and internal leadership, working to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of parking enforcement officers assigned to one or multiple client locations.
  • Schedule shifts, manage coverage needs, and ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Train and coach staff on enforcement procedures, citation systems, conflict resolution, and customer service.
  • Monitor officer performance and conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with contractual standards and operational protocols.
  • Handle escalated situations involving the public, unauthorized parking, or equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand site-specific requirements, address concerns, and provide regular updates.
  • Review and audit citations for accuracy and policy adherence.
  • Ensure enforcement officers maintain professional appearance and behavior in accordance with company and client standards.
  • Prepare reports on activity levels, incidents, and employee performance as required.
  • Coordinate with company leadership on disciplinary actions, safety incidents, and procedural updates.
  • Track and report maintenance issues involving enforcement vehicles, handhelds, or signage.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associates or bachelors degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 23 years of experience in parking enforcement, security, or related field.
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening (if required by client contracts).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Professional communication and customer service abilities.
  • Familiarity with mobile citation technology and enforcement software.
  • Knowledge of local parking regulations, signage, and enforcement protocols.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and manage high-stress situations calmly.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable with a proactive work ethic.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and on foot for extended periods.

Work Conditions:

  • Work may be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Requires standing, walking, driving, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, or evenings depending on operational needs.
