Busy law firm located in downtown / Little Italy area seeks a full time legal assistant / paralegal. The position requires strong computer and writing skills, including knowledge and use of Word and Adobe and their formatting features. The position will include:
* Drafting Correspondence
* Drafting Pleadings & Discovery
* Formatting
* Greeting clients
* Filing
* Maintaining electronic file system (including scanning, saving and organizing documents)
* Court filing (both state and federal court)
* Organizing and setting up new files
* Calendaring
* Tracking matters
A minimum of three years of experience required, preferably in a litigation firm setting. Ideal candidate will have strong organizational and writing skills and pay attention to detail.
