Area Director Community Engagement & Fundraising

Description:

The Area Director Community Engagement & Fundraising is a leadership opportunity responsible for guiding local program delivery, building strong relationships with community leaders, and leading inclusive fundraising initiatives to increase visibility and support for a national nonprofit focused on mental health and community empowerment.

The Area Director will work remotely (in Colorado, ideally near the Denver metro area), collaborate with volunteers, board members, and partners to advance outreach and education programs. Main responsibilities include leading fundraising campaigns, organizing community walks and special events, building and strengthening relationships with volunteers, partners, and stakeholders, guiding local programming efforts (awareness initiatives and educational outreach), supporting regional board and committee development and engagement, managing budgets and strategic plans, and elevating public awareness via media and storytelling.

Requirements:

Experience in nonprofit fundraising, particularly with community-based or peer-to-peer initiatives; strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills; ability to engage and train volunteers with care and inclusivity; demonstrated skill in building relationships with diverse community stakeholders; comfort using office technology and tools such as Microsoft Office.
